Health and Safety Policy Statement.

Jackson Rich acknowledges its responsibility for health and safety, and will, so far as is reasonably practicable, put in place such measures as are necessary to help ensure the safety, health and welfare of all its employees, contractors, temporary workers, and other persons who may be affected by its operations.

To this end, the Company will provide sufficient financial and human resources to help achieve these objectives.

Health & Safety Compliance.

The Company is CHAS and Constructionline Certificated, and employs two IOSH accredited Health and Safety Offices; between them having 40 years combined experience.

Jackson Rich works in partnership on all health and safety matters with its business associates, and employees, including the provision of vital resources for Sub-contracting companies.

The health and safety department provides the Company with an internal consultancy service on matters of compliance, and supports and monitors projects throughout their life. This service includes; attendance at pre-commencement meetings; approval of design risk assessments under CDM; management of work-place risk assessments and method statements; development of training materials and the organisation of safety meetings, site audits, end of contract review meetings, and preparation of Residual Risks Files.

Staff training and development is achieved through the appointment of internal and external providers. All employees are either ECS (CSCS) Card Holders, or are working towards Certification; the current achievement rate is 83%.
